Bengals signed OT Marshall Newhouse, an unrestricted free agent who played 47 games with 31 starts for Green Bay over the last four seasons.

He is a young player with a lot of experience as a starter, but he got benched for a reason. It wouldn't have taken too much for him to have moved ahead of either David Bakhtiari or Don Barclay last season (both players had a negative grade in 2013 according to Pro Football Focus). With the likely return of both Derek Sherrod and Bryan Bulaga next season, the Packers didn't need Newhouse to provide depth either.Meanwhile the Bengals just lost their backup tackle to the Buccaneers. The 2014 draft class at tackle isn't deep, so he might be useful to them next season. If he survives training camp.
