According to NFL.com, Former Texans Tight End Owen Daniels, who's been contact with the Packers throughout this offseason, (going as far as to meet with them early last month) has signed a one-year deal with the Ravens. Last year, Daniels' eighth with Houston, the veteran wasn't too great, catching just 24 passes for 252 yards, but still, acquiring him would've been pretty cool.
Anyway, in reality this news shouldn't affect the Pack too much, as they've already re-signed longtime backup Andrew Quarless, so yea, let's not get too stressed about it. It's actually not that big of a deal.

He'd only have cost $1 million (what the Ravens paid). Maybe he wanted to stay in the AFC, but he would have been worth it as an extra receiving threat. He's coming off an injury, but he should be fine. The bigger concern is that he's on the wrong side of 30. It makes me wonder if TE is an area they might target in the draft.
